SL-M Series

Instruction Manual

The SL-M Series is a corner mirror dedicated for the Safety Light Curtain GL-R Series, SL-V Series, and SL-C Series (hereinafter called

GL/SL Series).

Read this manual before using the product in order to achieve maximum performance.

Keep this manual in a safe place after reading it so that it can be used at any time.

The following symbols alert you to important messages. Be sure to read these messages carefully.

Confirm that the product packaging includes the following accessories in addition to the SL-M Series itself and 1 copy of the

Instruction Manual.

Safety Information for SL-M Series

• Thoroughly read the Instruction Manual for the Safety Light Curtain with which the SL-M Series is used. The Instruction Manual

comes with the Safety Light Curtain.

• Perform tests and maintenance in accordance with the “Checklist” in the GL/SL Series Instruction Manual.

• Do not use the SL-M Series as a retro-reflector for the GL/SL Series.

• Do not use the SL-M Series in locations that are subject to vibrations or mechanical shocks capable of causing a misalignment

in the device installation position or angle.

• Be sure to confirm no deterioration in product quality if you use the SL-M in the presence of substances, such as heavy smoke,

particulate matter, or corrosive chemical agents.

• When disposing the SL-M, always follow the applicable requirements of the laws, rules, regulations and standards in the

country or region where the SL-M is used.

• The SL-M Series should be processed as an industrial waste when being disposed.
