Terms Used in This Document

This document uses the following terms:

Term Description

Sensor A sensor amplifier.

Main unit A sensor amplifier that has a power line and can operate alone.

Expansion unit

A sensor amplifier that does not have a power line and must be

connected to a main unit.

D-bus

The name of KEYENCE's wiring-saving system for sensor amplifi-

ers.

Supports SK-1000 Series static sensor and others.
